How to Use Quizling

1. Autoplay and Manual Play Modes… What’s the difference?

The default way of playing Quizling is in ‘Autoplay’ mode. This gives you 15 seconds to answer a question.

This is great for individual play but what if you want to play a quizling with a class or a group?

Then you’ll need ‘Manual Play’ mode!

Manual Play mode allows you to turn off sound, the timer, scoring and the ‘did you know’.

It also allows you to control when you go to the next question … (and you can go back as well)!

Follow these steps and see how easy it is to switch between auto and manual play modes!

2. What is a dongle and why do I need one?

A dongle allows you to connect your device directly to your smartboard or projector.

Once we’re passed electricity and the whole silicon revolution… the dongle is just about the single greatest thing that will power you and your class through your adventures in digital learning.

A dongle is not just for Quizling – it’s for everything that you might want to show your class or your class might want to show each other on the smartboard or through the projector.

Anything that you have on your device that you want to show on the big screen… you need a dongle!

A dongle is quite simply an essential item in your digital toolkit.
